The Vintage Series garage door features the classic Carriage House look with
the benefits of steel construction. The doors feature premium quality wood
grained steel meticulously formed to deliver a distinctive look of elegance with
a virtually maintenance free finish. It features bold vertical lines
designed to enrich the look of traditional architecture as well as contemporary
design homes. Door sections are made up of a steel inner and outer skin,
spaced 1-3/8" apart. The space is then filled with liquid polyurethane foam for
insulation and strength. This method is superior to polystyrene or
styrofoam insulated doors as polyurethane has twice the R-value in the same
thickness as styrofoam insulation and becomes very hard upon drying adding
strength to the door sections. A full width rubber weatherseal eliminates air and wind
infiltration between each door section. All these features add up to an energy
efficient door that provides durability, strength, security and lasting
beauty.
